Singing In the Season!

Join us for one of our favourite concerts of the year. You will be surrounded by the lush harmonies of Biebl’s “Ave Maria” and Lauridsen’s “O nata Lux”, be surprised by the jazz-inspired tonal colours of Poulenc’s “La blanche neige”, and hear a new take on the traditional carol “The Holly and the Ivy” by Gjeilo.

The depth of musicianship of our singers will be on display with several choir members taking turns conducting, singing solos, and telling stories. Sing along with our audience carols, and YOU, the audience, will get to choose the final selection of the program.

Finally, we welcome back guest artist James Gordon, who will conduct the premier of GCC’s very own song, “One Voice, One Heart”.

Before the concert and at intermission you can try your hand at printing your own paper Christmas ornament guided by our guests at the Pomegranate Letter Press, peruse our gift basket selections, and offer donations of socks and gloves for our friends at the Chalmers Centre in Guelph.

It is a perfect afternoon to sing in the season! See you there!
